Ghana’s Rep To BBA The Chase Edition Elikem Says It Was Worth It

Ghanaian finalist at this year’s Big Brother Africa reality television show Elikem Kumordzi has addressed a section of the Ghanaian press in Accra. The session, put together by Multichoice Ghana, was to afford him the opportunity to tell his story, and also answer some questions.
The young fashion designer recounted his experience in the show, insisting he enjoyed every bit of his 91-day stay in the competition.
“From the drama, to the tensed moments and all the other things that happened as we go along, i enjoyed them,” he said. It was fun.. Big Brother Africa was worth it.”
He made time to answer a number of questions from the press, the majority of which centered on his relationship with Zimbabwean socialite Pokello, and famous run-ins with Nando, which got the Tanzanian sent home packing among other highlights of the three-month reality television show.
Ghana’s best ever Housemate since the competition took off in 2003, Elikem is also upbeat about life after the show, adding he’s already gotten some offers in fashion and movies, two areas he wishes to explore further.
“A lot is already happening,” he says. “I have scripts waiting for me. I am returning to South Africa soon for a fashion exhibition… and all that… so a lot is happening.”
A representation that got the entertainment circles excited at his prospect of winning the USD 300, 000 prize money (which was eventually won by Namibia’s Dillish), this year was his second attempt at auditioning, after failing to make the mark some two years ago.
