Balance Between the Females And the Men

It has been an intense and fun week in the Big Brother Hotshots house with drama aplenty. The freeze task was the major topic of conversation with little folk, twerkers, strippers and inapropriate bears all making an appearance and making at least one housemate break down. Goitse was traumatized by the whole affair and because she was taken to "cheat" during the task, when she crumpled to the floor sobbing and keeping her eyes tight shut; she was punished by being nominated by Biggie for next week's evictions.

Suitably chastized, the housemates knew that Biggie meant business when he said that everyone should abide by the rules in the house, something that was also brought into sharp fiocus when Idris was issued a "strike" for breaking the bedroom door the previous week. Up for nomination this week, however is Ellah, Nhlanhla, Permithias, Frankie, Trezagah and Butterphly.

Ellah has been nominated five times, Frankie and Permithias up for the fourth time and Trezagah making his second appearance on the nomination list with Butterphly being the only housemate to experience the pressure for the first time.

Last week was an all male eviction scenario, with a triple eviction, Luis, Kacey Moore and Arthur all leaving the house. This means that Rwanda and Namibia could be the latest countries left with no representatives left in the house with Frankie and Permithias up for eviction respectively.

Could the balance shift back to a tie between the females and the men or could Africa shock us all and vote more females out of the house? With Kenya being the first country to have their countrymates evicted, could there be more countries lamenting the demise of their favourite housemates?

Will this change the dynamics of the game, evening up the yin and the yang of the house, testosterone versus feminine wiles? Will regional votes move more towards individual characters as the potential is that individual countries will no longer have a representative in the house to support? Big Brother Hotshots is delivering entertainment, twists and drama and each week we are introduced more and more into the multi-faceted personalities, who does Africa want to win the USD300 000?
