Eviction Distraction
With the upcoming tension of eviction, the housemates needed a little distraction, and it came in the form of retail therapy. It was shopping time in the house, and because they won their 100% task wager, they got a sweet deal out of it.
On that note, Idris certainly showed that he has a sweet tooth, his list including Coco Pops, wafers, chocolate, éclairs and doughnuts. Goitse’s list included red wine and dark chocolate, a perfect pair, but we don’t think she’ll be sharing that with Idris.
Sheillah showed a healthier side, choosing strawberries, spinach, carrots and bananas amongst many other items. Laveda’s long list included éclairs, garlic, cauliflower, kiwis and lettuce; while M’am Bea selected tomatoes, chillies and ginger. Sabina proved to be a chocaholic, ordering dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate spread and chocolate biscuits.
Alusa included a bit of excellent indulgence to the house with brandy, popcorn and steak. The rest of the housemates followed with a variety of other items. We can’t wait to see what they cook in the kitchen this week.
Considering how much angst the food in the house usually causes, it was a surprisingly smooth process. The housemates seemed more concerned with their images on screen, than with what they were buying. Samantha, however, did chip in every now and again, telling everyone to include staple items such as bread and milk, and telling them not to buy the same items as other housemates had.
Eviction is just a few hours away and whoever goes home will leave their orders behind for the rest of the housemates as they carry on playing for the big one: the USD300 000 cash prize and title of ultimate Hotshot!
